Kick-Off
The one-day kick-off gives you the opportunity to get to know each other, clarify expectations and take a joint look at the goals of the program. You will be given an overview of the structure and content of the basic and advanced programs.
The focus is on networking with each other and dealing with the central topics of modern leadership in an academic environment. You will reflect on challenges, identify strengths and formulate goals.
The aim of the kick-off is to create a common basis for the following modules and to promote the exchange between new and experienced managers at KIT - for an inspiring start to the qualification program.
Basic module 1
Self-management, team development and strategy in harmony
What does leadership mean today - and how can it be shaped in everyday academic life? The two-day Module 1 starts with this key question and focuses on self-leadership, motivation and attitude as well as the balance between individual development, team dynamics and strategic goals.
Practical methods are used to show how team leadership can succeed in everyday life - from the design of solution-oriented team meetings, the motivation of teams and the creation of a common direction, to the strengthening and further development of trusting networks beyond one's own unit.
The module thus offers a sound introduction to sharpening your own understanding of leadership and providing you with specific tools for team development.
Basic module 2
Promoting development: Delegating, giving feedback, mastering conflicts
The two-day Module 2 builds on the content of Module 1 and focuses on the individual development of employees. This includes the role of the manager as a coach, as well as the topics of situational leadership and effective delegation.
Day 2 is dedicated to the topics of communication and discussion management: how do I organize a development discussion, how do I give constructive feedback and how do I deal with conflicts effectively?
Through practical exercises, the module supports you in increasing your effectiveness in everyday life and gaining confidence in communicating with employees.
Basic module 3
Successful systematic personnel selection
In this one-day Module 3, you will learn about the entire recruitment process in a practical way - from the creation of a clear and well-founded requirements profile to the professional conduct of job interviews.
A particular focus is on formulating targeted questions in the interview in order to be able to assess the potential and fit of candidates in a targeted manner. In addition, various selection methods are presented and evaluated to enable you to make well-founded and fair personnel decisions.
Depending on experience and the current situation, the offers from the in-depth program can also be selected independently of the basic program.
Whether it's a leadership day workshop, short workshop or impulse, coaching, peer coaching or e-learning. You decide what suits your current challenges. This modular structure offers the greatest possible flexibility and is suitable for every career stage and every individual need.
